So it really WAS impossible....(epic fail :)

Can you say "Epic Fail"?  I had challenged myself to make
slip covers for these two cute little wing chairs that turned
into bendy-twisted demon chairs!

I tried....

The outcome was er, well hideous.....I hang my head in sewing shame
and pick up my phone to dial Sears to order some slipcovers......

Hee,hee....it really wasn't that dramatic but something, somewhere did
go horribly wrong and let's just say it was.....an epic fail!

Lesson learned:  Peggy can't sew freestyle....whahoo!

Love all the great projects that DID turn out and next time....look out!
(cause I will hire a professional....hee,hee!)

Bravely linking to: Linda's Imagine the Impossibilities Party here.
You just have to go and check out what challenges
were met and with such awesome talent!

Hi Peggy -- excellence is all about the 'failures' on the journey. Thanks so much for sharing your troubles with this project -- I'd love to see your next attempt!!

I'm too afraid to even try slipcovers so more bonus points to you!

Hey you gave it the old college try, better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all! Hehe, don't worry, you were a brave girl to have tried such a hard project!

You were braver than I to try, and I'm proud of you and impressed that you admitted the fail. You're an inspiration to those of us sometimes afraid to admit our weaknesses/limitations and show them to the world. :-)

I’m sorry it took me so long to get to your « Impossibility Challenge » post – this thing called “work” got in the way! But I’m here now and while I'm sorry you failed, at least you gave it a go...I certainly wouldn't have even dreamed of making slipcovers.

Well done on "dreaming big" even if you didn't quite mazke it to the stars!

Impressed that you tried and admitted failure! I would never have even attempted it! Hooray for Sears slipcovers. Now, sit on that chair, put your feet up and have a nice glass of wine to console yourself! Love your little addition to our button too! Thanks for joining our Impossibilities Challenge. New follower!

Oh Peggy, your post always make me smile...Remember it wasn't "Accomplish the impossibilities challenge" it was "Imagine the Impossibilities Challenge" you imagined and you tried. That's the accomplishment!
