Birds of a Feather.....

In yesterday's post (here) I gave you a sneak peak of some
photoshop work I've been doing with graphics from the Graphics
Fairy.  Oh such fun and such great results.  I used Avery fabric
iron on transfer paper (about $12 Cdn for 5 sheets).
It's so fun that I think I might become a bit of
 a photoshop fanatic!!

Here's the 2 different graphic overlays (using one graphic
with a "clear" background on top of another) I made 2
pillows out of:

If you would like to use either of these - please ensure that you
give credit to Karen at the Graphics Fairy for the original graphics
and I wouldn't mind a shout out to my blog for the overlay.

Here's what I did with them....

Now this one is cool because the pillow is a pillow cover from
Dollarama that I simply cut in half.  It has a zippered opening (for
a buck!) and is polyester that looks like burlap - win/win - washable
and pretty!

The hummingbird one is on a linen background with a string fringe - I
couldn't get a really good picture of it (the lighting was not good) but
the graphicis a bit darker than it appears in the photo.

I did more but I want to show them off a few at a time....there's no
stopping me now!

Thanks again to Karen to the graphics!  Fun, fun, fun!!

Peggy, your pillows are so cute. When you say "photoshop" do you mean Adobe photoshop?

I'd love to see a tutorial on how you did this!

Peggy-love your blog. I love your pillows, I just got some light transfer paper to try something sweet from the Graphic Fairy. You mentioned that you used Photoshop. I have never used this software, is it user friendly if I decided to buy? Would appreciate your feedback since your know what your doing with great success. I would love to try this!
