Does anyone but me remember that song?
Hey Paula? or, am I giving away
my age yet again?
Trivia Time:
"Hey Paula" is a song recorded by "Paul & Paula".
It hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on the week
ending February 9, 1963. "Paul" was the song's writer,
Ray Hildebrand a student at Howard Payne College in
Brownwood, Texas. "Paula" was Jill Jackson, the niece
of the owner of the boarding house where Ray lived.
Anywho...I digress....
A long time ago I asked Paula (the real one)
if she had any interest in making jewelry - it
was probably about a year ago and at
the time she said yes.
Well, best laid plans....we finally got
together this week and I've got to
tell you Ms. Paula is a natural
at making the pretty
stuff.....
Here's a sampling of what she made
with very little instruction from me....
Crystals 'n Silver
Jasper & Crystal
Chunky Wire-Wrapped Turqouise
A little later in the evening
I rec'd this email from
Paula....
"A monster has been created....
gosh this
is fun!"
Look at her go! Nice job Paula!
Thanks again for the visit and the
"black bean brownies"...they were awesome!
On top of the lovely time - check out the view
from Paula's deck....this is one of
the best views I've seen of our lovely
harbour city.
Ok, Holiday Girl signing off....until tomorrow,

They all are really pretty, but I'm a sucker for the turquoise.
