Holiday Girl In the House.....

There used to be a time when the days
just before holidays I would assume a new
"persona"....aka:  Holiday Girl!  I generally
strove to make life miserable delightful for
those around me while I counted down my
sleeps to vacation.

This year it arrived in a blur...busy, busy, busy!
I didn't even get a chance to do a little
Holiday Girl dance!  Mr. Biff to the rescue
he made sure today that I felt like Holiday Girl
....he brought me these:

Can you believe it?

What a sweetheart with a capital SWEET!

I thought I would show off the little French
table I finally finished.....you might remember it from

Please don't look too closely at the ugly
door mat - or the floor mat in the "before"
or the swirly little sander marks that were
not because I got too exuberant with my
sanding (no I didn't - really!)

Anyway - here she is - I will have to
touch up the top tomorrow but hey,
Holiday Girl is in the house so no
worries!!

Tomorrow I am going to see Paula
and we are going to make pretty jewels.
I will post the pics tomorrow.

Thank you to the Graphics Fairy for the lovely French label!

Ain't LUV grand?

p.s. don't forget to check out the Sunday *Sigh*
and my first give-away...did I mention "Holiday
Girl in the House!"  Yeah, Baby, that's what
I'm talkin' about!

This turned out great. I love a new look with the old stuff! You must see potential in more things than a person has room/time for.

You've got the knack! The transformation is wonderful.

This looks fabulous. My husband did something similiar to a table that serves as our "island" in the kitchen. It was not tall enough, so he heigheted it and added decorative trim where the pieces of wood met. I was sooo pleased!
